The secret of Black Slavonian bacon is related to the free range pig breeding and smoking in traditional open-hearth smokehouses where the bacon is smoked in natural beechwood smoke and turned over carefully. Each piece of the premium bacon has been separately prepared by masters of their trade and left to ripen for several months after the smoking.
The meat of Black Slavonian pigs is very fatty due to their diet and outdoor breeding. This bacon is not for the fainthearted, as most of it deliciousness comes from the high fat content. This by no means a meaty bacon, but it is a delicious one!
Ingredients: pork bacon, table salt, spices, sugar, antioxidant: sodium ascorbate, preservative: E250. 100g of dry product made from 152g of fresh pork bacon.
